Trading Terms and Conditions
All bookings must be made on Space Hopper Events booking system (online or paper) and will not be accepted unless they are correctly completed and forwarded with the correct booking fee.
Ticking the agreement option on the automated booking package or signing the official booking form acknowledges full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

It is the policy of Space Hopper Events to decline an application
from any applicant whose work or goods is not considered to be of an
acceptable standard or conflicts with the Terms & Conditions
Booking and Payment:
Space Hopper Events will endeavour to maintain what we consider
to be a good mix of traders and goods available at its events. Therefore
we reserve the right to decline applications when we judge that quotas of
traders or goods for each event have been reached.
Bookings will only be secure when Space Hopper Events has received and
acknowledged the booking form and payment.
Payment must be made within 14 days in full at the time of booking.
In the event of a cancellation by the trader, Space Hopper Events reserves the
right to retain any booking fees made.
As a guide:
- a cancellation will forfeit any monies paid - No refunds will be made unless 28 days notice is given in writing,or unless the space can be re-sold prior to the event.
- an amendment or switch of date up to 7 days prior to an event will be accepted without penalty.
- an amendment or switch of date within 7 days of an event will forfeit 50% of booking fee
In the event of the cancellation, abandonment, limitation or postponement of any event organised by Space Hopper Events, including interruption or cessation of power supply, there will be no claim against Space Hopper Events.
Space Hopper Events cannot be held responsible for loss of earnings as a result of any of these circumstances nor any other action by any third party beyond their control.
Stall Space and Set -up:
Spaces will vary in shape and position according to the venue configuration. The organisers will allocate spaces to maximise use of the space available.
It will not be possible to re-allocate space on the day of the event.
Stand space is let to the trader stated when making the booking and must not be
sub-let to any other party. Sharing of spaces is allowed if notified at time of booking.
All Exhibitors must set up and clear according to the by the times allocated in the Traders information (Issued prior to the event).
Traders must not pack or clear their stall before the event closing time without permission of Space Hopper Events.
Exhibitors must ensure that none of their display equipment extends beyond the
space they have booked. This includes any rails, stands or additional equipment
they may bring in addition to the tables provided. Additional space can be purchased prior to the event if necessary.
Traders must indicate on the booking form the number of personnel working on the
stall at the event and this number must not be exceeded without prior permission
on Space Hopper Events
Exhibitors must maintain an adequate shared access with their neighbours.
All tables must be suitably covered to ground level.
The only goods permitted for sale will be those indicated on the Booking Form.
Space Hopper Events reserve the right to refuse sale of goods not previously
detailed on the booking form and reserve the right to ask for the removal of any
items not so declared.
" Pre-Loved" indicates quality items which although used are still in good condition. This is not a jumble sale or car boot type event and displays should be attractive and tables covered with a cloth to floor level in keeping with the venue.
Space Hopper Events reserve the right to ask traders to remove any dirty, broken or unsafe items from display.
For safety reasons sellers may not sell electrical items (ie items connected to a plug) or used car seats at this event.
Traders must comply with all requirements of the local authority
Food sellers must have current local authority food preparation certification available and a copy sent to Space Hopper Events prior to booking confirmation and available at all times for inspection by the local authority inspector. Space Hopper Events will accept food trader ratings of 3 stars and above, but not below
All traders MUST have public liabity insurance
All children's toys must display a CE lable (inluding handmade bears / toys / sock monkeys etc )
Authority, The Local Authority, The Police and the Fire Service.
No flammable liquids, gases or explosive substances shall be brought into or kept
in the hire space.
No special effects such as candles, helium balloons, fireworks, explosives, smoke
generators, lasers shall be used in the hire space unless the trader has first
obtained written approval from Space Hopper Events,
No mechanical or electrical equipment of any kind should be used in the hire
space unless the trader has first obtained written approval of Space Hopper
The trader must provide Space Hopper Events with a list of equipment to be used
in the hire space and if requested the relevant portable appliance certificate [PAT]
indicating proof of testing at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Exhibitors must remove all rubbish, wrapping and waste at the end of the fair.
Space Hopper Events are not responsible for Exhibitors property ( including all motor vehicles) whilst attending the event,
We strongly advise traders to take out their own insurance as Space Hopper Events Ltd can accept no resposibility or liability for trader's losses or claims from third parties made against individual traders.
Exhibitors are responsible for any and all damage or injury to persons or property
occasioned by any of their exhibits, any act or omission by them or their servants,
agent or contractors. Exhibitors shall indemnify and hold harmless Space
Hopper Events in respect of all liabilities, proceedings, damages, cost demands
and expenses brought or made against or incurred by Space Hopper Events,
in relation to or arising from any acts or omissions of the Trader. Traders are
responsible for arranging their own Public Liability Insurance and Employers
